Abrams, as he did to Lost and The Office, directed the pilot of the Undercover. He claimed that the show would have more fun energy and a little comedic. That's new. We know Abrams has been so serious with the characters and stories in his hit series. He then described that he really enjoyed the script and the chemistry of the two main characters.
And who are those two main characters??
It has been admitted that the characters will be the resemblance to the husband/wife spy team inspired from a movie called Undercover Blues. And I guess we here in Indonesia are not familiar with that movie, right?
The show is quite like a modernized Hart to Hart. Yup, I heard that classic series before, maybe my dad or mom watched that show so I can tell you later.
And by the way, The Bloooms are played by Boris Kodjoe (Steven Bloom) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Samantha Bloom). Well just keep praying this series will come here soon and cheer us up, guys.

Abrams sebelumnya menggarap komedi The Office, satu2 nya serial komedi yang ia sutradarai, yang membuat ia identik dengan cerita-cerita misteri dan serius. jadi ini bisa jadi terobosan baru buat Abrams. Undercover bercerita tentang sepasang suami istri yang berprofesi sebagai spy dan ceritanya akan seperti serial klasik Hart to Hart dengan sentuhan modern, tentu saja.
