REMEMBER ROSWELL???

Surprise...surprise...The Queen of Rom-Com was here...Katherine Heigl..!!

I was at my last year at high school when Roswell was aired in SCTV every Saturday at 5 PM. Yeah, it sucked, Saturdays were busy days for extracurricular so I didn't catch this show regularly.

Roswell, as far as I know, is the name of place somewhere in US where the first UFO sighting was reported and many people admit that they have been seeing aliens there (just google it or read wikipedia, guys). Inspired by those facts (or not?) the series revolved around four beautiful teenagers. The casts are:

Liz Parker, Maria DeLuca, and Alex Whitman are high school students and best friends residing in the small town of Roswell, New Mexico. Roswell is well known for the alien stuff. Liz's parents own the Crashdown Café, which serves alien-themed dishes. While waitressing there, an argument between two customers results in Liz being fatally shot. Fellow student Max Evans (Jason Behr) rushes to her side and magically heals the wound by placing his hand over it, bringing her back to life. He leaves a silver hand print on her stomach. This act arouses suspicions for Liz and other bad guys.

During a biology class experiment the next day, Liz obtains a sample of Max's saliva without his knowledge and examines it under a microscope. She discovers Max's cells look nothing like human cells. She confronts Max, who then admits he, his sister Isabel (Yeah, Isabel is played by Khaterine Heigl) and their friend Michael (Brendan Fehr) are aliens whose spaceship crashed at Roswell in 1947. Max intimates to Liz he saved her life because he has strong feelings for her and the romance between Liz and Max begins. Then the problems appear endlessly. The government, other aliens and the other people then keep hunting the three beautiful aliens and Liz has to protect her boyfriend and friends at any cost.

Roswell ran for 3 seasons and SCTV wrapped up the series perfectly though, again, I didn't catch them. That's why I have been searching for the DVD. And hey, do you think Brendan Fehr looks like young David Duchovny??
